The evening unit UCW is a group of on average 13 women who get together the first Wednesday evening of the month. They meet at Greenbank United church in the basement and share their Faith and ideas for enriching the church and the community.

They raise thousands of dollars annually and give to such organizations as Luke’s place, Joanne House for youth at risk, Precious Minds, 0peration Scugog, Healthy Snack Program @Greenbank Public School ,St. Vincent soup kitchen, and the new Durham Hospice.
